Standards and Frameworks

LRI does not replace existing standards. Instead, it builds bridges between lunar operations and frameworks like NASA mission assurance rules, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, and reliability standards.

LRI research and technical frameworks are developed with explicit reference to established aerospace and quality standards, including ISO 9001, AS9100, ECSS product assurance standards, and NASA system safety and risk management practices. The intent is not to redefine standards, but to extend their practical application to autonomous, communication-delayed, and extreme-environment operations such as lunar surface manufacturing.

Crosswalks

Quality Architecture Patterns

Reusable patterns that show how to combine requirements, risk, and verification for lunar factories.
